HOLA

Soy Mitch!

Your favorite Latina storyteller and photographer, living under the golden San Diego sun with my sweetest pup, Butters, and my ying & ying kittens, Mochi and Fumi. I’m here to capture what words often fail to—the quiet poetry of life unfolding in the spaces between moments. For me, photography isn’t just about what you see; it’s about what you feel. It’s the soft hum of nostalgia, the warmth of a fleeting glance, the way time seems to pause when you’re wrapped in something beautiful and real.

I’ve always believed that love and connection reveal themselves in the smallest details. The brush of fingers, the unguarded laughter that spills out when no one’s watching, the way the light catches your face when you’re lost in thought. These are the threads that weave our stories together, and I see them everywhere. My camera is simply the witness, freezing what might otherwise slip away unnoticed.

When I’m not chasing golden hour or preserving timeless memories, I’m chasing adventures. You’ll find me exploring winding mountain trails, soaking in the stillness of dawn at the beach, or wandering where the wild things grow. There’s something magical about being lost in nature—the kind of magic I try to bring into my work. Every frame is an echo of my own love affair with the world, its textures, its light, its unguarded beauty.

Food is another language I speak fluently. There’s an intimacy in breaking bread, in sharing stories over a simmering pot or discovering a new spice that feels like home. Every bite holds a story, and every story sparks inspiration. The flavors, the moments, the laughter shared over a meal—they all find their way into the way I see the world and the way I capture it.

Photos, to me, are more than just images. They’re keepsakes of who we were, tiny treasures we can hold in our hands when the rest of life rushes past. They carry the weight of every laugh, every tear, every silent, tender moment that reminds us we’re alive.

So let me tell your story. Let me find the beauty in your in-betweens, the quiet magic of who you are when you think no one’s watching. If you want someone to bottle up the spark of now, to hold it safe for tomorrow, I’d love to be the one to do it.
